Sub-Basement Homesick Blues
It’s true, Sub-Basementeers, still no strip today. Mowrer’s basement is unflooded, but there’s still all the tsuris that comes with one’s basement having flooded. We’ll be back next tuesday with new stuff; you can keep up with us on Facebook and Twitter. And I bet the Archive has something you’ll like.
Speaking of the Archive: while slightly-above-Twitter-length jokes about Star Wars and Peter Rabbit’s Development Hell are the forte of The Sub-Basement, the comic strip and the newsertainment show therein, it’s always fun when we get to do a longer, more involved story.
The biggest thing we’ve done, of course, is our summer blockbuster epic, The Lost World Of Sid & Marty Krofft.
We like to use these stories to get more into the characters and settings, starting this early 3-parter. We went exploring the TV Squared facilities in our recent one-year anniversary. We did our employer a favor, and paid tribute to one of the all-time greats of voice acting when we met…The Voice.
